God is relational by nature and He created us--in His image--for the purpose of relationship ---with Him, and with each other. Jesus taught us to love one another as He loved us (John 13:34-35). This kind of loving does not happen in isolation, or in corporate worship---but only when we intentionally and consistently do life with a group of Christ-followers that is small enough for us to truly get to know them and be know by them. No Christian, faith, Jesus, relationships, John 13:34-35, community, small groups, spiritual growth 00:34:30 https://pastorbradwindlan.jellycast.com/node/6 I believe in Jesus, why do I need to attend church and develop friendships with other Christ-followers? God is relational. He created us--in His image--as relational beings, for the purpose of relationship. Jesus said, "I will build my CHURCH..." The Greek word for "church" is ekklesia, I.e. "assembly" or "community". Jesus commanded us to love one another as he loved us (John 13:34-35). This kind of loving does not happen in isolation or BIG corporate worship services. In this message Pastor Brad shares two fundamental reasons why we must care about community. No small groups, faith, relationships, Jesus, community, church, Christian, Bible 00:33:50
